1- How are bank transfers done؟

  • The sender, whether an individual, an institution, or a representative of an institution, shall go to the bank or exchange company to supply the amount of the transfer and provide the competent employee with the necessary data.
  • The bank or exchange company, through one of the instant electronic systems such as SWIFT, notifies the receiving party of the transfer of the necessary information, whether related to the recipient or related to the settlement data between the two banks, or intermediary banks.
  • The transfer is paid after completing the process within a certain period, which may be limited to several hours or exceed several days, but in most cases the transfer lasts from two to three working days

2- Do I have to open an account in order to make a bank transfer؟

If you want to transfer an amount of money to a beneficiary account number from an exchange company, you do not need to open a bank account and you can send the transfer directly to the beneficiary’s account number.

3- How long does an international bank transfer take؟

Due to the procedures required to send money abroad to a country, as well as coordination between two banks in different countries, or perhaps several intermediary banks between the two banks, the transfer may take approximately three working days and maybe more in some cases.

But in any case, you can follow up on your bank transfer with the customer service of the bank or the teller with whom you performed the bank transfer.

4- How long do internal bank transfers take؟

Bank transfers may only take several hours, especially if both accounts are; The recipient’s account and the sender’s account are in the same bank, so there is no major procedure just a notification from one bank to another that so-and-so deserves to exchange a specific bank transfer.

And that the amount was deducted from the sending customer, and there may not be any cash payment, but only entering this data on the bank’s system.
